About Me

I am a student at Canning College studying AIT (Applied Info Tech) Digital Media as one of my TEE subjects this year. I didn’t actually choose this subject, my AIT Business course was cancelled. But I think that I will be enjoying this one much better. After all who in their right mind would pass up the chance to do a subject where they get to take photos in class? NO ONE, that’s who! Well, I’m pretty sure that’s not all we’ll be doing but I can dream! I don’t have a lot of experience with digital design but I plan to be like a sponge and absorb all the information that I can.

 

I came to Canning College last year after literally failing everything at my previous school, drawing and falling asleep in class will do that to you. I live all the way down in Rocko (Rockingham), which means that it is a hour long journey to get here by 8:45 each morning, but it’s worth it.

Out of school I do tend to play around with programmes such as photoshop, however I’m not particularly good at it. Also in my spare time I like to draw, paint and listen to music, mostly all at the same time. I am using books and the limited amount of online manga tutorials to teach my self to draw manga, it’s not going to well, but I remain positive that I will get it one day…meanwhile I go insane with annoyance. I really love music. My favorite band at the moment is My Chemical Romance…I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon. I have most of thier albums (including “I brought you my bullets, You brought me your love” which I’m told is hard to find) excluding “Life on the murder Scene”.

I like most genres of music, however dance, techno, remixes, hip hop and rap really makes me want to cut off my ears…it’s that bad!

My self-set art project that I am working on now is a box that I intend to store my Wicca things in. I want to make it like Pandora’s box so now I am obssessed with it, hence my blog name.
